Dr. Hudson is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the only board certification that is recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists. The ABO was established in 1929 as the first specialty board in dentistry. Its mission is to establish a standard of care for orthodontics.
Visit the ABO website to learn more about how we ensure your family receives the best care possible.
To become board certified, Dr. Hudson first attended a 3-year full time orthodontic residency. After practicing for several years, Dr. Hudson then presented six of his patients before the American Board of Orthodontists, where they were reviewed by several Board Examiners and accepted for their proper diagnosis and excellent results. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Hudson will continue to present finished cases every ten years to maintain board-certified status.
Becoming board certified signifies the orthodontist’s pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence in orthodontics. The simplest way to protect yourself from treatment by an untrained doctor is to make sure you receive braces or Invisalign from an American Board of Orthodontics certified orthodontist.
