We started bringing our 7-year-old child here for an expander, and initially, we were seen by a rotating roster of different staff members. While this rotation model undoubtedly increases clinic efficiency, it makes the treatment approach and techniques unpredictable from visit to visit. I had previously requested to stick with a single, dedicated provider, but that request was denied.
Things reached a frustrating point when our treatment was abruptly handed off to another person midway through an appointment simply because the previous staff member’s shift ended. Unsurprisingly, that visit resulted in a minor mishap, forcing me to take unexpected time off work to return and have it redone.
Fortunately, that is when we met Cortney. She patiently calmed my frustration, answered all my questions with great care, and meticulously fixed my daughter's appliance. When I asked if we could continue seeing her for future appointments, she kindly agreed. That, to me, is the true standard of patient care.
Ever since then, every single step of our journey has been smooth. Cortney even remembers the brace colors my daughter chooses each time!
